Can rubbing alcohol – or sprays – kill bed bugs?
This is a popular DIY solution – but not an effective one. In fact, it can oftentimes make things worse. Making contact with bed bugs makes them easy to kill, hand soap and water, dish soap, your hammer, a thumb, and rubbing alcohol can all kill bed bugs if you can manage to get them directly onto a bed bug. The issue isn’t killing the bugs, it’s finding them in the first place – and rubbing alcohol can actually be dangerous!
