Dr. Roger Gold, Ph.D.Urban Entomology, Texas A&M (Retired)

Dr. Gold taught and mentored generations of urban entomologists as chair of Texas A&M’s Urban Entomology department. His course “Insects in Human Society” was popular even with non-science majors for its hands-on experiments and interactive demonstrations. He retired from teaching in 2015, but remains an authority on the new resurgence of bed bugs in cities across America.
